Raynor’s current residential badging uses the “II” suffix with myQ/Wi-Fi built in. These are Raynor-branded LiftMaster platforms we stock, install and service. Newer Prodigy III, Sentinel 360 and Trailblazer models are also current — ask us which generation fits your door.

Legacy note: First-generation Pilot, Admiral and Aviator (non-“II”) units are discontinued but still serviced by our technicians.

Commercial ControlHoist Operators

ControlHoist (formerly PowerHoist) is Raynor’s solid-state commercial line. Base motor is 1/2 HP 120 V single-phase intermittent duty, with multiple motor/voltage/phase options available. We configure and install three main arrangements:

• CMH — Jackshaft with Hoist: Vertical/high-lift doors, small rolling doors and grilles.
• CMT — Trolley: Standard-lift sectional doors, high-torque limited-duty cycles.
• Gearhead / Belt Jackshaft variants: For specialized commercial and industrial applications.

All ControlHoist models are current and supported.

What We Install vs. What We Repair

• New installations: Any current “II” residential model, Prodigy III, Sentinel 360/Trailblazer series, and full ControlHoist commercial range — including wiring, myQ setup, battery backup and permit coordination where required.
• Repairs & service: All models in the table above, legacy first-gen residential units, and existing ControlHoist/PowerHoist operators. Common calls: logic board replacement, drive gear kits, belt/chain adjustment, safety sensor alignment, battery-backup swaps, remote/myQ pairing.
• Not Raynor product: DuraFirm, Innovations, StormShield, ecoLite, Weekender, DuraSeal, RollSeal, Aviator Connect, PowerMaster — we do not sell or warranty these, but we can often repair the mechanical operator if it shares a LiftMaster chassis.

Choosing the Right Operator

• Ceiling clearance tight? Prodigy II (8500WRGD) jackshaft mounts beside the door — ideal for low headroom or cathedral ceilings.
• Quiet priority? DC belt-drive models (Prodigy II, General II, Sentinel II, Aviator II, Airman II) run quieter than AC chain units.
• Power-outage protection? Battery backup is standard on all Premium-tier “II” models and Prodigy III/Trailblazer BBU.
• Heavy or high-cycle commercial door? ControlHoist CMH or CMT with the appropriate motor/voltage spec — we size it to your door weight and cycle count.

Local Service & Support

We operate out of Richmond and cover Metro Vancouver same-day or next-day for most service calls. Warranty claims on new Raynor operators go through us directly. For older units, we stock common LiftMaster-compatible parts (logic boards, gears, belts, chains, remotes, keypads, safety sensors) so repairs often finish in one visit.
